I'm proud to serve as the APRN Educational & Faculty Outreach Program Manager, where I support our team and act as the primary point of contact for APRN faculty and students. In this role, my goal is to strengthen engagement and ensure you have the tools and guidance needed for success in your professional journey. 

With over 21 years of experience as a healthcare leader, Advanced Practice Provider, and consultant, I’m passionate about advancing nursing education and practice. I support faculty and students through guidance that fosters academic and professional growth. My focus includes developing APRN strategies to improve outcomes, address burnout, and strengthen academic systems—while emphasizing the critical role of advocacy in shaping the future of U.S. healthcare.

As Hill Day approaches, I want to remind students and new graduates of the power of advocacy. APRNs have an essential voice in shaping healthcare policy, and now more than ever, that voice needs to be heard.

I’m incredibly proud of your decision to take this significant step in advancing your nursing career by pursuing your APRN degree. This journey requires dedication and a deep passion for improving the lives of others. As you begin this new chapter and transition into your APRN role after graduation—whether supporting care teams, leading in clinical settings, or delivering patient-centered care—remember that your role goes beyond clinical practice. • Support Mentorship and Networking: Experienced faculty can guide new APRNs in developing leadership skills, while new APRNs offer valuable perspectives on current and evolving practice trends.

• Promote Research and Innovation: Contribute to the advancement of the profession by publishing and presenting research that informs evidence-based policies supporting APRN practice.
