Her tenure with American Nurses Enterprise has spanned 13+ years. She comes to us from the ANCC Magnet Recognition Program and, prior to that, she worked with ANA Education and Resources. She is an experienced leader with over 24 years as an RN and educator across diverse settings/roles, a published author, and a professional speaker. Her clinical background was step-down and progressive care. You will be seeing Tiffany at upcoming workshops, 1:1 calls, and Provider Virtual Town Halls.

New 2025 Accredited Provider Criteria Deadline Approaching:
The countdown has begun! In just a few weeks, on July 1, 2026, all Accredited Providers must fully implement the New 2025 Accredited Provider criteria.

NEW: Annual Reporting Deadline—March 1
We are implementing a new, standardized deadline for annual reporting. Beginning 2026, all required reports must be submitted by March 1 each year.
This update is designed to strengthen program consistency, improve review timelines, and ensure we can provide timely feedback and support. We know calendar planning matters, and we appreciate your partnership in meeting this firm deadline.
Please incorporate March 1 into your annual schedules going forward. Additional reminders and resources will be provided to help you stay on track. If you have questions or need guidance, we are here to help.

Call for Abstracts Submission Deadline Extended for
the PDP Summit 2027!
The Call for Abstracts for the 2027 Professional Development and Practice Summit has been extended and will now remain open through June 25, 2026, at midnight.
We invite submissions that highlight innovative work in NCPD Accreditation, Joint Accreditation®, and the integration of these programs with Transition to Practice initiatives. Presenters will have the opportunity to share their work through podium or poster presentations at next year’s event.

Educational Design Process 6
EDP6: The provider describes the process for identifying appropriate active learning strategies to promote learning and actively engage learners in educational activities.
Active learning strategies evolve beyond learner engagement strategies. They involve actively engaging learners in the learning process and encouraging them to take part in building their own knowledge, skills, and/or practice. This criterion requires the provider to describe how appropriate active learning strategies are selected for educational activities. When selecting active learning strategies, take a moment to ask which strategy will help learners understand the material or build on their existing knowledge. Next, describe how you ensure that the active learning strategy is congruent with the underlying educational need of the activity and the format of the activity. For instance, an active learning strategy incorporated into a knowledge-focused live activity, such as think-pair-share, may not be appropriate for an enduring activity. Additionally, using knowledge-only polling questions in a skills-based activity may not support the measurement and assessment of skill change. Each educational activity must incorporate active learning strategies aligned with its format and underlying educational needs.

Conversely, learning outcomes are measurable statements describing the actual change in knowledge, skill, and/or practice that learners will demonstrate at the end of the activity.
